Leo XIV Promoted This Hopping, Dancing Bishop in Mexico: In January 2026, Pope Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Trinidad Antonio Márquez Guerrero, 60, as auxiliary bishop of San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico. He was consecrated a bishop on May 8. On Sunday, July 19, he celebrated a Eucharist during the diocesan Youth Day in the bullring in Yahualica, attended by some 1,300 young people. Still wearing his mitre and liturgical vestments, he started hopping and dancing around like an overexcited young person.
Y luego nos preguntamos por qué algunos católicos se van con los lefebvristas...
How did Jesus Carry The Cross? In Detail - Blessed Anna Katharina Emmerick's Vision catholicaudiobooks Chapter XXX of "The Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ" by Anne Catherine Emmerich details the events surrounding Jesus' carrying of the cross. In this chapter, Emmerich describes how Jesus, after being condemned to death, was given the heavy wooden crossbeam to carry to the place of execution. Jesus, weakened and wounded from the earlier scourging, struggled under the weight of the cross. The soldiers accompanying him, driven by a sense of duty and impatience, prodded and mistreated him along the way. Emmerich vividly depicts the sorrow and suffering of Jesus, and how He bore the cross with great humility and resignation. She also narrates the encounter between Jesus and His Blessed Mother, Mary, on the Via Dolorosa, as they exchanged a profound and heart-rending gaze of love, compassion, and sorrow. The chapter captures the physical and emotional agony of Jesus as He carried …Zambiri
Leo XIV Visits Mountain Sanctuary: Today, Pope Leo XIV made another surprise pilgrimage, visiting the mountainside Sanctuary of the Most Holy Trinity in Vallepietra. He traveled there by car. The sanctuary, famous for its medieval fresco of the Holy Trinity, lies about 60 miles northeast of Castel Gandolfo in the Simbruini Mountains.
Surprise surprise… when you’re visiting the Vallepietra sanctuary and get an unexpected blessing from the Pope
And the result will be another encyclical or papal letter, or better yet, an autobiography detailing his 'little guy from Peru (by way of Chicago) makes good' success story. So much to do, so little time....
I suppose all of this touring and roaming about the Italian countryside is supposed to be a part of him fulfilling his role and duties as Primate of Italy.

Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni said today that “reports of any deliberation by the judges following the case of Rev. Marko Ivan Rupnik are absolutely unfounded.” He said the evaluation is still ongoing and the panel is examining documentation from the dioceses involved, the Jesuits, interested parties, and the press. “During the trial, as with any judicial proceeding, no information regarding ongoing activity can be shared in any way, out of respect for the trial itself and to avoid harming anyone involved.” Bruni added that the canonical criminal proceeding “may provide guidance regarding guilt or innocence in accordance with Canon Law,” while Rupnik remains subject to the civil laws and statutes of limitations of the countries where any crimes were allegedly committed. Meanwhile, Laura Sgrò - the lawyer representing five women accusing Rupnik - said the Vatican process has been almost completely opaque. She told the Associated Press that, as of July 2026, her clients had never been …Zambiri
Hunter Biden says a "closeted gay mafia" of Republicans runs Washington Hunter: "There is like this closeted gay mafia, largely Republican, that exists in Washington DC, and everybody knows every single one of them" Hunter: "I know for certain and I'm not kidding now… everybody in DC knows this" Hunter: "The only reason that that is relevant is because I believe that internal conflict creates so much vitrial inside a person that they take it out on the rest of the world" Hunter: "For Lindsey Graham, like everybody knows that Lindsey Graham was gay, right?"
Perhaps more accurately - there is a cabal of snake oil salesmen, hustlers, and grifters, both sides of the aisle, in Washington, just like him. A smidgen of truth swimming in a large vat of con. Anything for a buck. I guess the painting scam didn't pan out.
Mass Using the 1927 Vajs Missal: On 1 July, the Feast of the Most Precious Blood, a Mass according to the Croatian Glagolitic Rite was celebrated at St Michael's Parish, Belfield, Sydney. The liturgy, celebrated in Old Church Slavonic, was attended by hundreds of Croatian Australian Catholics. It was celebrated using the 1927 Vajs Missal, the last printed Glagolitic Missal.
Sydney's Croatian Catholics celebrated the traditional Croatian Glagolitic Rite Mass in Australia in early July, a rare occasion which revived a ninth-century tradition tracing back to Saints Cyril and Methodius.

Virgin Mary Statue Survives Earthquake: A statue of the Virgin Mary remained unharmed after a 5.1-magnitude earthquake devastated the 16th-century Santiago Apóstol Parish church in Chupaca on the night of July 18. The quake caused the church's roof, façade, and altars to collapse, but the Marian statue was found intact amid the rubble. "A large part of the church nave has collapsed", Father Henry Díaz told Rotafono, adding: "The high altar collapsed into the rubble. The statue of the Virgin remains intact."
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Peru's Junín region on July 18, killing at least five people, injuring more than 20, and causing widespread damage. The historic Santiago Apóstol Parish in Chongos Bajo was among the hardest hit, with its roof, façade, and centuries-old altars collapsing. Father Henry Díaz said much of the church nave gave way, deep cracks spread through the walls, and the bell tower is now dangerously unstable. Amid the destruction, however, a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary remained standing untouched, which Father Díaz described as a powerful sign of hope. Peru's Catholic bishops have offered prayers and are appealing for support to restore the historic parish.
In an attempted public relations stunt, Ukrainian soldiers were captured in an attempt to raise the flag over some abandoned buildings in the strategic city of Konstantinovka. The Ukrainian soldiers were captured by the Russian military and forced to drop their flags and raise the flag of the Russian Federation. The failed PR stunt comes at a time when Ukraine is trying to save face after a recent shakeup in its military leadership. Ukraine's Attempted PR Stunt Ends in Embarrassment --- I watch this sort of thing nearly every day. But this was too funny to pass up without posting it.
A new study of Catholic contemplative monasteries has found that 91 monasteries have closed in France over the past two decades, representing nearly one-third of the country's contemplative houses. The findings come from French sociologist Isabelle Jonveaux, a specialist in monastic life at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), whose research was published by LaVie.fr on July 21. Several well-known monasteries have already announced their closure for 2026, including La Grande Trappe of Soligny (Orne), the Carmel of Compiègne (Oise), and Notre-Dame du Port-du-Salut (Mayenne). According to the study, nearly 30% of France's contemplative monasteries have disappeared since 2007. Women's communities have been affected more severely than men's, with 32% of women's monasteries closing compared with 21% of men's. The pace of closures has also accelerated. Until around 2015, France averaged fewer than four monastery closures per year. Today, the figure is close to ten annually. Among religious …Zambiri
– Folha de S. Paulo, September 13, 1983 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira FRANCE, first-born daughter of the Church, was brilliant down through the centuries in the acts of its illustrious children in favor of the preservation and expansion of the Mystical Body of Christ. It is precisely in France that the “New Sunday Missal — 1983” is circulating widely and with impunity. The work, carrying the Imprimatur (6/26/82) of Msgr. R. Boudon, Bishop of Mende and President of the French Language Liturgical Commission, has not been condemned so far. Its pages thus continue to intoxicate countless French-speaking faithful seeking there the invaluable inspiration of liturgical texts that conform to the perennial teaching of the Church, but also finding texts profoundly discrepant from the Catholic spirit. Here I will limit myself to comment on three characteristic topics of the Nouveau Missel. At the end of the Mass for Sunday, March 13, page 139, the “New Missal” says this of… Marx! Yes, you are …Zambiri
No doubt the perpetrators and facilitators of this tripe were excommunicated. (No?! You'd have to be an unofficial bishop who follows the teachings of the Church pre-Vat 2 to warrant that.) If there is 'schism' in the air, it is being fueled by both sides of this debacle. The Church must get its act together.
Two women will jointly lead the Catholic Deanery of Bremen-Nord, Hildesheim Diocese, for the first time, marking a historic shift in church leadership. The decision was announced on July 21. Ute Zeilmann is a theologian and will oversee pastoral ministry and the pastoral staff. Agnes Dobrzynski will lead administration. Both have worked in the Bremen-Nord deanery for several years. To meet canonical requirements, Rev Johannes Pawellek will act as moderating priest, accompanying the new leadership team after his retirement in November 2026. The pastoral team will also be joined by Rev Pradyut Bahla, an Indian priest currently pursuing doctoral studies in Frankfurt. He will serve in Bremen-Nord for five years. The two women want “to embrace the global Church's call to synodality: leading together, listening to the Holy Spirit, and moving away from isolated leadership decisions”. The Diocese of Hildesheim was led by pro-homosexual Bishop Heiner Wilmer until June 2026. He was promoted by …Zambiri
Father Benjamin Okwy Madu, 54, a Nigerian Catholic priest serving in the Archdiocese of Boston, died by suicide on July 2. The tragic sin happened weeks before his U.S. religious-worker visa expired and he was required to return to Nigeria. He had served as a hospital chaplain and a weekend Mass celebrant for a parish collective on Cape Ann. An email message on behalf of Archbishop Richard Henning said the priest “tragically took his own life.” Friends and parishioners said the prospect of leaving America deeply distressed him. "I sensed he was afraid of something. He never would communicate what it was." — George Lieser, parishioner at St. Joachim Church, told ACI Africa on July 14. Days before his death, he reportedly suffered a panic attack on his way to celebrate Mass. In a farewell letter, he admitted that returning to Nigeria was "not my wish," but said circumstances beyond his control had ended his ministry in the United States. #newsWzcstejqob
Suicide is never permited, true, unless... THE only cases ARE when Almighty Father MAY grant Mercy to those with Clinical evidence. There are some illneses like for example acumulation of lewy bodies in the brain (Robin Williams is one case as example) replication of dna like huntigton's disease... The individual, clinically speaking, dont have rationality when their brains are compromised biologically with strange and weird diseases. Again, God is the Righteous and Ultimate Judge, He may or may not take that into account, but it is more likely than not that He will. I surrender to His Might and Divine and Just Mercy as He knows best.
On Tuesday, a woman in her 50s was seriously injured after being stabbed during the morning Rosary at Holy Cross Church in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland. The attack occurred at around 9:45 a.m., shortly before the church's 10 a.m. Mass. Parishioners quickly intervened and alerted emergency services. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police arrested an Irish man in his 30s at a nearby house. According to Irish reports, the suspect was not known to the victim but was known to police. The parish priest, Fr. Richard O'Halloran, described the attack as "random in nature." "It has been a very shocking event," Fr. O'Halloran said. "The people and my colleague who was there at the time responded wonderfully well. All the emergency services were called, and they looked after everything." In a statement, the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore said it was "deeply shocked" by the violence. #newsPkskyldybf
