Today, Pope Leo XIV has appointed Jesuit priest Joseph Samedi, 54, as Coadjutor Archbishop of Bangui. The appointment places Fr Samedi alongside Cardinal Dieudonné Nzapalainga, 59, who is only five years his senior. Background to the Appointment Cardinal Nzapalainga has led the Archdiocese of Bangui since 2012 and was made cardinal by Pope Francis in 2016. He rose to international prominence for his interfaith work during the Central African Republic’s civil conflict, particularly through the 'Plateforme des Confessions Religieuses de Centrafrique', a coalition of Christian and Muslim leaders promoting reconciliation. In recent years, however, local and regional reporting has pointed to growing tensions between the Archdiocese of Bangui and the Nunciature in the Central African Republic. The most sweeping allegations have come from journalist Jean-Paul Naïba, who accuses the cardinal of greed, financial misconduct, nepotism, and misuse of church-affiliated NGOs. Jesus endorsed the death penalty to protect the innocent from depraved men who seek to corrupt them or cause them to sin. Luke 17:2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas Pro death … Saint Thomas Aquinas, in the *Summa Theologiae*, teaches that heretics render themselves worthy not only of excommunication but also of physical extermination. In his *Summa Theologiae*, he writes: "In the case of heretics, two aspects must be considered: one on their part, and the other on the part of the Church. On their part, there is indeed a sin whereby they have merited not only separation from the Church through excommunication, but also exclusion from the world THROUGH DEATH." "However, on the part of the Church, there is mercy in favor of the conversion of those who err; and for this reason, they are not condemned summarily, but rather after a …Okuningi
Catena Aurea: Saint Jerome When the Lord says: "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, etc.," He employs the language customary in that province; for it was the custom among the ancient Jews to punish the most heinous criminals by casting them into the sea bound to a stone—a punishment that was, in fact, preferable for them. For it is far better to undergo a brief punishment than to be reserved to suffer eternal torments.
Jesus endorsed the death penalty to protect the innocent from depraved men who seek to corrupt them or cause them to sin. Matthew 18:6 But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Giancarlo Dellagiovanna, 64, as Apostolic Nuncio to El Salvador. This follows one of the more unusual diplomatic incidents of the past year. On 15 March 2025, Pope Francis had named Monsignor Dellagiovanna as Apostolic Nuncio to Burkina Faso. He was consecrated as a bishop by Cardinal Pietro Parolin in Rome on 25 April 2025. However, his tenure was unusually brief, lasting only five months. On 15 August 2025, his resignation from the Burkina Faso post was quietly accepted with the appointment of a successor. The resignation remains unexplained. According to the Italian blog Cielo e Roma, the move was allegedly due to health reasons. Dellagiovanna joined the Holy See’s diplomatic service in 2005. He served in the nunciatures of Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Italy, as well as in the Secretariat of State’s Section for General Affairs. In August 2019, AciStampa.com reported that he was Cardinal Pietro Parolin’s ghostwriter. #newsRwxvrvalew
Even stranger is that the Pope has imposed a coadjutor archbishop on Cardinal Nzapalainga, 59, the metropolitan archbishop of Bangui in the Central African Republic, and this archbishop is a heretical Jesuit admirer of Francis who likes to dress up.
BREAKING: Kenya's Court of Appeal rules that abortion violates the child's right to life and overturns the decision of a rogue judge who had tried to legalise abortion! This is a HUGE win in one of Africa's biggest legal cases ever.
Leo XIV sent a video message to those gathered at DePaul University in the U.S. to mark the 15th anniversary of the abolition of the death penalty in the State of Illinois. He stressed that the Church continues to affirm “that the dignity of the person is not lost even after very serious crimes are committed.” In The City of God, Augustine of Hippo argues that legitimate public authority acting under just law may order death.

They have been influenced for many years by Pachamama spirituality and liberation theology. As a result, they genuinely believe much of what they promote and speak about. The real issue is that they should never have been allowed anywhere near the Vatican, let alone placed in positions of authority at its very center. Therefore, cardinals and bishops—who *should* know better—are an even greater concern. Lukewarm Catholics are problematic. Lukewarm clergy are even worse. Shame on them.
Chris Jackson rightly wrote (Hiraeth in exile): So what are we supposed to believe? That the Church “long considered” an attack on human dignity to be morally acceptable? That Scripture, the Fathers, the Doctors, the Roman Catechism, and centuries of Catholic rulers all endorsed something intrinsically contrary to the dignity of man until Francis, of all people, corrected the moral theology of Christendom?
Pope Leo on Blessings for Same-Sex Couples | Shalom World News Speaking to journalists aboard the papal plane from Equatorial Guinea to Rome, Pope Leo said Church unity should not be defined by debates over same-sex blessings, stressing that moral discussions extend beyond sexual ethics. The Pope’s comments came in response to a question about moves by Cardinal Reinhard Marx to allow blessings for couples outside sacramental marriage, including same-sex couples. Leo reiterated the Vatican’s opposition to formalized blessings but said that all people are welcome in the Church. He warned that pushing the issue further could risk division, adding that unity should be rooted in the teachings of Jesus.
Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich said this week that he has worked closely with Pope Leo XIV for years and often draws on the pontiff’s language when speaking on political issues. Appearing on Father James Martin’s podcast, Cupich said his relationship with Leo dates back to 2014 and deepened through their shared service on the Dicastery for Bishops. “We have a very good history together working on important projects,” Cupich said, adding that both shared “a great devotion to Pope Francis.”
The Vatican altered the official Italian transcript of Pope Leo XIV’s 23 April flight remarks, removing the word "infamous". He had used it while discussing homosexual "blessings" in the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising and describing Pope Francis’ phrase tutti, tutti, tutti as infamous, famous, well known.

There is such a thing as contagious euthanasia....like suicide....The chances of someone else in the family trying suicide is very high when a parent or sibling or friend has done it....Nobody realizes that God won’t accept you if you do that because you are displaying the desire to be God yourself...a very bad idea!
Ken Klippenstein writes on April 24 the truism that the U.S. has long maintained extensive intelligence and security monitoring of the Vatican. The used agencies are the CIA, NSA, FBI, and State Department. - The CIA is represented in the U.S. Embassy to the Vatican and the Agency has been penetrating the Vatican government and diplomatic corps for years. It has human spies working inside the Holy See bureaucracy. - The NSA intercepts Vatican communications, emails, and texts, working independently and through a joint NSA/CIA “Special Collection Service.” - The FBI investigates crimes committed against and by the Vatican. It also regularly provides threat intelligence to the Pope during his travels. FBI documents show that the first Trump administration sought to beef up its coordination with Italian intelligence agencies and Vatican officials on things like cyber security, white collar crime, human trafficking, art theft and other issues. - The State Department closely follows the ins …Okuningi
The Vatican has accepted the appeal filed by the Benedictine monks of the Valle de los Caídos against the Spanish government’s planned “re-signification” of the monument, according to Spanish media. The move is being seen as a setback for the pro-homosexual Cardinal José Cobo of Madrid, whom critics accuse of having capitulated to the government during negotiations. Cardinal Cobo has repeatedly said that the Archdiocese of Madrid has no authority over the basilica or the Benedictine community and that responsibility lies with the Vatican. The complex includes the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Benedictine monastery. The Sánchez government’s plans amount to the secularisation of an important Catholic religious sites. The government is expected to present in June the redevelopment project known as “La base y la cruz,” which will lay out the next stage of the redesign. This will coincide with the June visit of Pope Leo XIV to Spain. #newsDrmmbzsumh
25.04.2025 BIBLE READING AT THE HOLY MASS TODAY SAYS ‘THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE WILL BE CONDEMNED’ All need faith and baptism for salvation and those who do not believe will be condemned said Fr. John Cross, a Nigerian diocesan priest at Holy Mass today in English. He was reading the Gospel from St. Mark at the chapel of the Missionaries of Charity Brothers Contemplative of Mother Teresa, Largo Preneste, Rome. Today is the feast of St. Mark the Evangelist. Fr. John Cross was referring to the belief in Jesus in the Catholic Church for non condemnation to Hell. This missionary passage from St. Mark is supported by Vatican Council II. It says all need faith and baptism for salvation (Ad Gentes 7). Ad Gentes 7 is placed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church under the title No salvation outside the Church (846). Yesterday, in the Reading from the Bible, at Holy Mass, Jesus identifies with the Catholic Church. He says, “Saul, Saul why do you persecute me”. Saul was persecuting the Early …Okuningi

And you, my most sweet Mother, won this crown and drew it to yourself through righteousness and love. The angels and other saints bear witness that your love for me was more ardent and your chastity more pure than that of any other, and that it was more pleasing to me than all else."
[Saint Bridget of Sweden – XIV Century AD; Uppland, Sweden/Rome, Papal States; Patron Saint of Europe, Widow, Mystic, Spiritual Writer] Revelation 4 ~ The fourth revelation in the Book of Questions, in which Christ beautifully praises every limb of the Virgin Mary his Mother, giving them a spiritual and allegorical meaning by comparing them to virtues; he also declares the Virgin to be most worthy of a queenly crown. "Your /Holy Mary/ head was like gleaming gold and your hair like sunbeams, because your most pure virginity, which is like the head of all your virtues, as well as your control over every illicit desire pleased me and shone in my sight with all humility. You are rightly called the crowned queen over all creation - ”queen” for the sake of your purity, ”crowned” for your excellent worth. Your brow was incomparably white, a symbol of the delicacy of your conscience, in which lies the fullness of human knowledge, and where the sweetness of divine wisdom shines on all.Your eyes were so bright and clear in my Father's sight that he could see himself in them, for in your spiritual eyes and in your soul's intellect the Father saw your entire will, namely, that you desired nothing but him and wished for nothing except as according to his will."
Apostate Robert Prevost endorses Bergoglio’s heresies: Prevost once again confirms that he possesses the element of obstinacy which establishes him as a manifest, pertinacious, and formal heretic. The Magisterium of the Church has decreed in perpetuity that the elevation of a heretic as Pope is invalid and null. The Church also teaches that the sin of heresy, schism, and apostasy separates the heretic from the Mystical Body of Christ—which is His Church—and that he who is not a member of the Church cannot be the Head of the Church. Apostate Prevost is a formal manifest heretic, … The Magisterium of the Church has decreed that the elevation of a heretic to the papacy, even if he were elected by all the cardinals, is invalid and null. Catholic Encyclopedia 1914 (Vol. 11, p. 456): “It is very clear that the election [as Pope] of a heretic, schismatic or woman would be null and void.”
“The bishops in the episcopal conferences of Africa were basically saying, that here in Africa, our whole cultural reality is very different … it wasn’t rejecting the teaching authority of Rome, it was saying that our cultural situation is such that the application of this document is just not going to work,” Prevost said. “You have to remember there are still places in Africa that apply the death penalty, for example, for people who are living in a homosexual relationship … So, we’re in very different worlds,” the Vatican official added.
