Leo XIV in Lampedusa: Today, Pope Leo XIV visited Lampedusa to highlight his preferred issue of immigration. He began the visit with a silent prayer at the Cala Pisana cemetery, standing before the wooden crosses of migrants who had died while being trafficked. During his homily, he greeted the immigrants and thanked them for helping each other. As he walked along the island’s rocky coast, the wind blew his zucchetto off (as can be seen in the video).
Hosea 2:16, 17b-18, 21-22 “I will allure her now; I will lead her into the wilderness.” The desert is peace, the moment when we return to ourselves. Let us welcome God’s joy. Matthew 9:18-26 “Courage, daughter!” The Lord tells us: I am with you. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
Austrian Diocese Sponsors Homosexual March: On July 4, the first "Pride" demonstration took place in Villach (population: about 66,000), Austria. Among the sponsors, the Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt is listed in the lower right corner. During the march, some participants wore dog masks, one participant carried a communist flag, and a sign read: "Jesus had two dads – why can't we?"

Vatican Newspaper Denies Devil: Biblical scholar and feminist Marinella Perroni, 78, wrote for the July issue of L'Osservatore Romano's monthly supplement Donne Chiesa Mondo. She claims that "in the Genesis account there is no devil"; rather, "the serpent is simply the most cunning animal in the eyes of the desert nomads." She argues - that belief in evil spirits entered Jewish theology only at a relatively late stage through contact with other ancient religions, - that the devil as a distinct figure appears only in the late and strongly Hellenized Book of Wisdom, and - that St. Paul and the First Letter to Timothy linked "the serpent, the woman, and the fruit" to "the devil, women, and sin," thereby reinforcing a patriarchal understanding of sexual difference.
Is Leo a freemason? Back in 2013 someone I love, described the behavior of Francis as a freemason, and through his fruits we know it is more likely than not that he was, we saw how he behaved during his "dark decadepapacy", such was marked with plenty of signs from Heaven, heresies, betrayal and apostasy; Leo XIV is enforcing Francis falseness upon the Church and everybody is sold, as it right now, we don’t have a true John the Baptist to call the viper as a viper. Both "popes" have clear differences in styles and both are actively seeking* to water down everything catholic (* francis heresies are still being enforced by Leo). Francis was more outspoken meaning, it seemed like he didn't think, like he spoke without realizing the cosequences of his anathematic words, but when he put it in writting, we knew right away the man wasn’t just a fool, he and his minions were trying to eclipse the magisterium and catholic traditions. So, if it hisses like a viper, slides like a viper and it …Ibindi
Bishop Czesław Kozon of Copenhagen, Denmark celebrates Mass according to the Roman Rite whenever he is asked to do so, he told de.CatholicNewsAgency.com on 4 July. He favours a pastoral approach: "People who want this should have the opportunity to do so." At the same time, he believes that 'Traditionis Custodes' "does not harm the Church": "One must recognise that the post-conciliar liturgy is the Church's liturgy, and that it can also be celebrated beautifully. That is the ideal we should strive for." He described the episcopal consecrations performed by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) as "tragic and completely pointless". Monsignor Kozon continued: "It also shows that this is about more than just the old Mass. Those who once praised the Church’s Magisterium, emphasised obedience and promoted unity are now acting in a way that is clearly disobedient and harms unity. That is why it is truly sad, and there is no excuse for it." #newsXjweykrbek

Rev. Gerald Murray, a New York canon lawyer, called the excommunication of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X "a canonical mess" in an interview with Raymond Arroyo (video below). Two Canonical Mechanisms Rev. Murray distinguishes automatic (latae sententiae) penalties from imposed (ferendae sententiae) penalties requiring a judicial or administrative process. Cardinal Victor "Tucho" Fernández did not impose excommunication but declared that an automatic penalty had already been incurred, since consecrating bishops without papal mandate triggers excommunication under canon law. Decree Excommunicates Only Six Bishops Rev. Murray's central criticism: the decree names only six bishops, while the explanatory note refers to priests and laity. But a note cannot legally expand a decree's scope. The note calls priests "schismatics," yet the decree itself never declares them excommunicated. Since a penal decree must specify who committed which offense and when, and this was omitted, Rev. …Ibindi
The essential difference between these two groups lies not in their attachment to the traditional Mass, but in their public judgment on the causes of the crisis. Canonically recognized traditional communities continue, by virtue of their statutes, to institutionally accept the Second Vatican Council and the liturgical reforms. They may criticize certain excesses or interpretations, but they do not contest the principles or the legitimacy of the reforms. The SSPX, on the contrary, considers that several conciliar teachings, particularly on religious freedom, ecumenism and collegiality, as well as the liturgical reform itself, constitute deep causes of the crisis and must therefore be subjected to doctrinal criticism.
Cardinal Kurt Koch, Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity, says the illicit episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) should not be seen as the end of dialogue with Rome. Key quotes from the Communio podcast published by Herder on 2 July.. On Excommunication and Future Dialogue - An excommunication is a medicinal penalty. It is not intended to be definitive; rather, it is meant to invite repentance so that one may find the way back. - I hope it will be possible in the future to resume new talks, so that they may find their way back into the Catholic Church. - At the moment I do not see that happening, but it would also be far too early. No Recognition of Popes Since Vatican II - This amounts to a form of self-authorisation for carrying out episcopal consecrations. - …a self-contradiction: on the one hand, they invoke the authority of the Pope in the most beautiful terms, yet on the decisive issues they go their own way. - To me, this gives …Ibindi
Cardinal Koch, Prefect of Christian Unity, on the SSPX Consecrations: "We need to rethink Traditionis custodes, especially for those faithful who feel drawn to this liturgy without sharing the ideology of the SSPX."
Careful of your wording. The SSPX is not the Church - they are members of the same DIVINE Church as Pope Leo. Sadly, the Holy Father is blinded with modernism and the SSPX is helping him keep the Church afloat. The SSPX is the miracle that God ordained to ensure "the gates of hell" do not prevail as scripture promises. It is also incredibly interesting that His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, added into Canon Law in 1983, the very subsections under Penalties (Can. 1323: 4), that prove that the grave penalty of automatic excommunication did not take place. Again, the hand of God guiding and protecting His Church is so clear to see.
Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa visited Gaza on June 22-23 and recalled the situation on June 29 in Bergamo, Italy, when he received a Prize from the Italian geopolitical magazine Limes. Key phrases as reported by VaticanNews.va. - "Gaza is a disaster. The cities have been razed to the ground, leveled, wiped out. Rafah no longer exists." - "What strikes me most is traveling along makeshift roads, through tents and sewage. This is where the people of Gaza live." - "One thing the images do not convey is the smell. "One of the greatest scourges right now is the rats, which bite. They bite children above all, and Gaza is full of children—you see them everywhere, but instead of going to school, they play, dirty, beside the sewers.”. - "Dual-use goods are not allowed in. And by dual-use they even mean school desks, pencils, notebooks, and the glass needed for windows. We want to reopen the schools, but we are missing almost everything." - "Healthcare workers have told me that what is needed …Ibindi
Richard @ricwe123 Most people aren’t aware that Russian President Vladimir Putin was actually the first world leader to call George W. Bush after the 9/11 attacks. Russia didn’t stop at words, they gifted the US a massive 100-foot, 175-ton monument called the Tear Drop Memorial. This towering bronze structure, featuring a suspended steel teardrop, was Russia’s tribute to the victims of 9/11. At its base are the names of 3.024 people who died in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. It stands quietly in Harbor View Park, New Jersey, directly facing the New York City skyline. So why is it so unknown? Because Western mainstream media decided to ignore it. Recognizing a heartfelt gesture from Russia doesn’t align with their narrative....
Thank you so much Pierre for this post. He also left a huge wreath under the wall of names. And the first country and President to send a cargo plane full of all sorts of medical supplies to the US during the scam covid-19. First to help out Catholics in Syria as well. The list is long for all he has done.
