Cardinal Marx Orders "Blessings" of Homosexuals

Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich, Germany, has instructed priests and pastoral staff to perform "blessings" for homosexual couples and adulterers.
A spokesperson confirmed to Die-Tagespost.de on 21 April that all pastoral practice should adhere to the German bishops' guideline, Segen gibt der Liebe Kraft ('Blessing Gives Love Strength'). This guideline is set to become a fundamental element of pastoral work across the Archdiocese of Munich.
Training sessions for pastoral staff on how to conduct these "blessing ceremonies" are scheduled to begin in June.
No couple seeking a blessing should be turned away.
Priests who reject such "blessings" are expected to refer couples to either their dean or other pastoral workers willing to perform them.
Furthermore, Cardinal Marx has urged that the "theological meaning" of the guideline be explained, particularly to those who may "still" struggle with the concept of such "blessings".

During his flight to Equatorial Guinea, Pope Leo XIV responded to questions regarding a potential future consistory. “That is a question that many people want to ask,” he said. He then made it clear that no decision had yet been taken on the timing of a new consistory. "We need to consider the matter from a broader global perspective," he added, also suggesting that the African continent is being given attention.

Today, Leo XIV commented on the possibility of the next consistory and the creation of new cardinals: 'No decision has yet been made on when new cardinals will be created. We need to consider the issue from a global perspective. We hope that, in the near future — or perhaps a little further down the line — the appointment of a new cardinal for Angola can be considered, and that this will be the case for Africa, and perhaps even for Angola.”

Work with RT, US press restrictions, imprisonment threats: Rick Sanchez speaks to Tucker Carlson

The veteran American TV anchor has discussed the current media landscape and hopes for policy changes under Trump
Former RT host and longtime television journalist Rick Sanchez has spoken about his experience with the Russian broadcaster in a newly released interview with Tucker Carlson. Once one of RT’s highest-rated anchors, Sanchez revealed that he was forced out of his job last summer under pressure from the administration of former US President Joe Biden, which he says even threatened him with prison over ties with RT. He also revealed that his departure was foreshadowed by an unexpected phone call from an “old friend,” a warning which he described as a case study in the decline of free speech in the US.
Press freedom in the US
Sanchez has criticized the state of press freedom in the US, particularly under the Biden administration. The veteran journalist expressed concerns over increasing restrictions on alternative media voices, arguing that journalists who deviate from government …

Benedict XVI Never Criticized Restrictions of Latin Mass - Archbishop Gänswein

Retired Pope Benedict XVI never criticised the restrictions placed on the Mass in the Roman rite by Pope Francis, Archbishop Georg Gänswein told LaRepubblica.it on 20 April.
Monsignor Gänswein claimed that Benedict XVI was deeply saddened when he learned about the Traditionis custodes document, but chose not to comment on it.
Reflecting on the relationship between the two popes, Archbishop Gänswein described their differences as ultimately complementary and 'enriching' for the Church.
He now downplayed suggestions of tensions between Benedict XVI and Francis, clarifying that not many conservatives approached Benedict XVI to voice concerns about Francis.
Furthermore, Archbishop Gänswein offered cautious criticism of Francis's notorious remark in July 2013 regarding homosexuals: "If someone is gay and seeks the Lord in good faith, who am I to judge?" Monsignor Gänswein noted that such a statement was "at least surprising coming from a pope".

Francis Knew "Many" Homosexual Priests

On today's first anniversary of Francis's death, the homosexual activist James Martin SJ shared a memory from 2024. At the time, Francis had made some negative remarks about homosexual priests using the Italian slur "frociaggine" (faggotry) in a meeting with Italian bishops.
A few weeks later, Francis received Fr Martin and discussed the expression. Francis said then that he knew "many holy, faithful, celibate gay priests and seminarians".
When Fr Martin suggested proclaiming this publicly, Francis replied, "Oh, but I think I have. And in any event, you can say that!"
According to Fr Martin, Francis asked back: "So you're saying that I can say you know many holy, faithful, celibate gay priests and seminarians?" Francis shrugged and said, "Of course. Because I do!"
[In reality, the Church has suffered from many unholy, unfaithful, sexually active gay priests.]
A few days later, during an audience with comedians, Fr Martin greeted Francis again. The Pope said, "Thank you for our meeting …વધારે

Gay is an adjective that applies to someone tempted to homosexual sin and is proud of the temptation and acting on the temptation. He or she also encourages others to be proud of their temptations and sins. The specific difference is pride. One who is tempted or sins in a homosexual manner and experiences compunction and repugnance is not gay. Given that definition one cannot be a good gay catholic or a good gay priest. Pride is a vice. It changes a tempted person or sinner who should be ashamed into a vicious monster. Bergoglio's and Martin's ambiguity serves as a smoke screen for contradicting divine revelation and traditional moral doctrine.

BREAKING: EU’s top court rules against Hungary’s ban on LGBT indoctrination of children - LifeSite

Tue Apr 21, 2026 - 11:53 am EDT
(
LifeSiteNews) — The European Union’s high court ruled on Tuesday that Hungary’s pro-family legislation passed under Prime Minister Viktór Orban violates EU law.
In 2021, Hungary banned the promotion of homosexuality and transgenderism to minors, prohibited pro-LGBT “sexual education,” and introduced stronger penalties for child sexual abuse material.
The European Court of Justice declared that Hungary’s ban on LGBT promotion to minors broke EU law because it “stigmatizes” people who claim to be homosexual or “transgender.”
The unprecedented decision also said that Hungary violated the “founding values” of the EU in Article 2 of the EU Treaty. “Consequently, that law is contrary to the very identity of the Union as a common legal order in a society in which pluralism prevails,” the court said.
The ruling notably comes just nine days after Orban lost to pro-EU challenger Péter Magyar, ending Orban’s 16-year reign as prime minister.

The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land strongly condemned the desecration of an image of the crucified Jesus in a Lebanese village, calling it a grave offense against the Christian faith and noting similar incidents in the region. They called for immediate disciplinary action, accountability, and firm assurances that such acts will not be repeated, while renewing their appeal to end the war.

Cardinals Reject Hope in Leo XIV on Roman Rite

Several anonymous cardinals and curial officials told the Substack.com account The Pillar on April 17 that they do not expect any resolution to the question of the Mass in the Roman rite in the near future.
Some Catholics had hoped the next extraordinary consistory of cardinals on June 26–27 would address the liturgical issue. Instead, Leo XIV chose to focus on Francis' document Evangelii Gaudium.
One Vatican official said that Leo XIV was not very familiar with traditional communities or even the traditional liturgy, and that his primary concern was not liturgy but whether members of those communities accept the Second Vatican Council.
As early as June 2025, the best friend of Leo XIV, Alejandro Moral, Prior General of the Augustinians, had already ruled out any return of the older form of the Mass under his pontificate.

Paul VI killed the Old Mass; JP II gave it a tiny life; Benedict opened it up greatly, saying it had never really been officially done away with; Francis tried to kill it; Leo seems happy with Francis's decision. Zigzag, zigzag, what is the layman to think? "Officer, the light was green when I went through it." "Well, it's red now and you are in trouble." Why should the laity respect the governance of the Church?

With God, all things are possible. Don’t give up hope.

Lisi Sterndorfer

A priest admits that the Novus Ordo Mass, as it is, doesn’t naturally foster reverence or the priest’s inner spiritual life and requires extra effort to make it meaningful.
The author finds it surprising that people can recognize this problem without concluding that something went seriously wrong when this newer form replaced the traditional, spiritually rich rite that nourished many saints.
In short, instead of trying to improve the Novus Ordo, the author argues that the Church should return fully to the traditional rite, calling this the most important task for the Western Church today.

The Novus Ordo and the Interior Life

We’ve all been to our fair share of banal, cringe, or even disrespectful Novus Ordo Masses. As a priest who celebrates the Novus Ordo, I can see how easy it is in the New Rite to fall into those traps. It is evermore necessary, then, for a priest who celebrates the Novus Ordo to cultivate a rich interior life of union with Christ because this is the only antidote to the myriad of temptations to trivialize the liturgy.
This temptation does not exist in the TLM. By the very structure of the liturgy, it is nearly impossible to celebrate it irreverently. Of course, every priest should live in intimacy with God, but even a priest who doesn’t pray much can still celebrate the TLM in an objectively reverent way. The Latin Mass is structured in such a way as to eliminate the temptation for a priest to insert his personality, his ego, and his weaknesses into the liturgy.
Of course, this is not foolproof. St. Alphonsus Liguori, in his Dignity and Duties of the Priest, states that a priest commits …

Saint Patrick's Day is right in the middle of Lent.
Eating the meat wasn't bad enough;
Lent is a 40-day season of repentance, reflection, and preparation. It acts as a "spiritual reset" focused on turning away from sin (repentance) and toward God, primarily through prayer, fasting, and charity in preparation for Easter. It involves self-examination and turning to God, starting on Ash Wednesday

A new chapel of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X was blessed on Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Tarnów. Poland, by Fr. Hubert Kuszpa. Continued growth of the faithful led to a second Sunday Mass and ultimately the need for a larger place of worship.

Zrobili …
