A Christian of unknown denomination has become the patron of a new Catholic parish in Texas. Bishop Michael Olson of Fort Worth has announced the creation of a parish in Arlington named after Matthew Ayariga, a Ghanaian killed by ISIS in Libya in 2015. Ayariga was abducted alongside 20 Egyptian Coptic Christians. On February 15, 2015, ISIS executed all 21 men on a Libyan beach.
